I'm a nobody & nothing account (good actually) but I'm begging folks who aren't up on disability justice (bc who can be up on EVERYTHING all the time?) to catch up on the ramping up of eugenics. Transphobia, race, misogyny, disability, class, fatphobia: it's ALL connected

Was just having this discussion on how not every form of rebellion needs every person to be boots on the ground.

You need community organizers, people making articles, those that provide safety nets.

Revolution also needs to be inclusive
“…no amount of posting or passive info consumption is going to substitute the hard, unsexy work of organizing”

I would argue that sick & disabled folks have used social media to organize and mobilize. Some of us can’t protest in the streets or meet in person but we made a difference
i wrote something about This Place for @404media.co. please read it, and then log off. 💗

I love we're doing online stuff isn't activism discourse for the millionth time. Hell, the authors comments in the replies are seriously yikes but hey, it's fine because they have many disabled friends. *eyeroll* Yeah, I also have thoughts on how IRL protests are performative. Another time.

Honestly kind of surprised he called it DOGE and not FedX.
It's National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which I want to remind you is for ALL WOMEN.

Except maybe TERFs.

Don't forget to include disabled people in your resistance. The more revolutionary you become, the more likely you'll join the disability community. To fight back and get out alive is almost always to become disabled in some way. Disabled people know how to adapt and fight continuously. You need us.
Fair enough! I sit corrected!

Hi, I am @motherjones.com' disability reporter. In the following weeks, I am very interested in hearing how tariff nonsense impacts getting your meds and medical equipment. My email to get in touch is [email protected]. Reposts appreciated.
I mostly agree, but there's a weird phenomenon where sometimes we never hear from the Best New Artist again, and I don't want that.
Damn, what did NPH ever do to you? :)
Thank you for doing The Work!

hard to strike the right tone in work emails lately. "I hope you and yours are having moderate success dissociating from All This Fuckshit. please invoice us by Friday if we still have a society"

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

With all the bullshit coming soon, letting rodents predict the weather is going to seem data-driven in comparison.

I am having trouble regulating my moods because everything is simultaneously so terrifying and so stupid.
You gonna DM me, or you gonna leave this one to my imagination? ;) Because for once I had not gone there, and now I'm curious.
