‘One officer told me that I "had no chance of returning to Minnesota" and that "the best thing for (me] is self-deportation." …
She offered me $2600 to self-deport.
I refused.
I wanted to talk to my attorney.
They didn't tell me the judge had already ordered my release and return to Minnesota.’

After 6am this morning in Whittier, Minneapolis—FOUR BLOCKS from where Pretti was murdered.

18 agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) markings smashed an apartment window, ran in, and came out with one man.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

This morning at the Minnesota State Capitol.

An ice sculpture that reads "PROSECUTE ICE". I'm told the organization behind the sculpture is Common Defense.

A mind-blowing exchange between the judge in the “sucks” case, detailing the endless ways the Department of Justice is maliciously non-complying with court orders while torturing detainees, and then the lawyer has to confess, “yeah, I’m not white and my whole family is scared, too.” #nuremberg
Something I found particularly galling: Judge Blackwell gives a long speech about the government's incredibly intransigence and malicious compliance with his orders, saying "I have to put conditions on release because you're all so nasty to detainees."

Le's response? I get it, I'm not white. BUT

I know they've told some real whoppers as they've been on their lawless rampage, but an ICE agent thinking he could get away with lying about shooting someone through the closed front door of a home is top notch.

This is unreal. An AUSA talking like that in open court is about as close as you can come to a total breakdown. Never heard of anything like it.

happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

This is what they consider “de-escalating."

They don’t know the resiliency of Ward 9 neighbors though. We aren’t stopping until the whole dam system is abolished.

May 1936: Heinrich Himmler inspects "Dachau", intended as a model concentration camp to "restore calm" in the nation and "rehabilitate" political prisoners. These camps were made known on purpose to instill fear. By 1942 much larger extermination camps were conceived. These were a state secret.

I’ve never seen this many cyclists for a group ride. ⚡️✊🏽⚡️🚲⚡️✊🏽⚡️ #RIPPretti
