Thanks. We have folks in our community giving vulnerable students rides to school, and a teacher shared that they were putting small stuffed animals on their dashboards to help kids identify safe cars. ICE picked up on it and started doing the same. Horrifying.

Unrelated I think my favourite game for messing around is Garry's mod. You can mess around with ragdolls like male_07 and there's some really easy ways to pose and manipulate the model it could trick something into thinking it's a real person.

It appears it's currently worldwide, done at random, not all users receive it, and - for now - it's limited to the desktop app. Editing preference options is locked until I surrender my id.

Half the battle with this guy is just reiterating government can and already does good things that are so ubiquitous they’ve become invisible. He’s able to remind you in a way that you understand that good government can exist outside of a 24/7 vengeance operation, and in NYC already does.

Each officer must fill out detailed paperwork listing any and all hurtful names that he has been called.
Naturally, for FOIA reasons, this paperwork must be publicly available online.

The kiosk demo of Mario Kart DS contained "Flesh Trucks" due to a spelling error. While the error was fixed in the final version, looking at the preview image for GCN Mushroom Bridge very closely shows that the truck still has an L. As such, the memory of the Flesh Truck remains.

Society parried the ozone layer, acid rain, and Y2K back to back and instead of going "wow, parrying is badass" a lot of people went "society didn't even get hit so I guess there's no need to learn how to parry" and instantly took a thousand hits
