I’m beyond proud of Peter Ettedgui speaking out about Farage and the vile antisemitic abuse he endured. I first heard Peter’s story nearly 20 years ago when Farage was a virtual nobody. It’s not a hit job. Just the truth

Cannot wait for GBNEWS and Nigel Farage to join the barricades about an arch Trump critic having his words censored by the BBC - they must be absolutely furious about this 🤔

There are little kids in the audience at today's White House turkey pardon, including JD Vance's three year old daughter in the front row - traditionally a light hearted, family-friendly event.

And here's what Trump chose to talk about.

Our Labour government ARE taxing wealth.

They ARE making the wealthiest in society pay more.

They did it in the last Budget & I expect more tomorrow.

Anyone who says it's not happening is lying to you.

Anyone who promotes phrases like 'tax billionaires' with no details is selling false hope.

Woah.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

The one week where the BBC don't platform Reform SS on any of their shows also happens to be their worst week ever.

Bias? What bias?

The media needs to stop calling it a peace plan. It's a Republican surrender plan for Europe. Why? Because Republicans have embraced fascist plutocracy and Europe isn't.

Trump’s signals to Zelensky and Europe: Accept this plan or you’re on your own | CNN
The 28-point plan hammered out by US and Russian envoys and put to Ukraine this week came with a deadline and an implicit threat: Sign up or face the risk of being abandoned.

The only reason Gill stopped being the Reform UK leader in Wales was because he failed to win a seat in the 2021 Senedd election.

Zia Yusuf keeps trying to make this sound like this is ancient history, and Reform washed their hands of him, but nothing is further from the truth.

Funny how Rigby never grills Farage on his alleged Russian links or that mysterious money for his foreign-national girlfriend’s Clacton house - but she’ll happily blubber on about Starmer gossip. Farage’s muppet, through and through.

I see stuff like this and instantly think of one of my favourite H.L. Mencken witticisms:

"Democracy is the theory that voters know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard."

(Great webinar @luketryl.bsky.social.)
Striking bit of @moreincommonuk.bsky.social's pre-budget briefing (watch in full on their channels). Voters think means-testing winter fuel benefit was *WORSE* that partygate and as bad as profiteering on PPE. And gov't breaking its pledge on tax would be worse than all of the above. 👀👀👀 ~AA

My questions for Farage

1. How did your gf buy you a house?
2. How much has Russia paid you?
3. Is Putin still your fav Leader?
4. Are you really selling black shirts?
5. Are 20 people at your old school right about your racism and antisemitism?
6. Ever been to Clacton?

I remain genuinely gobsmacked that this wasn’t picked up more. The Alex Jones who *repeatedly accused grieving parents of making up their children’s murders*.
Anyway, “after the news we’ll be joined by Nigel Farage & definitely won’t be asking him about any of this…”
On US TV shows and podcasts from 2009-18, Farage discussed supposed plots by bankers to create a global government, citing Goldman Sachs, the Bilderberg group and George Soros as threats to democracy. Included six guest slots with the disgraced far-right US conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

Another small step forward, slowly, but surely, this Labour govt is turning our country around. It's not going to be an instant transformation so be patient and, together, we will get to a better place, a fairer country, over the next few years.

Newmarket MP Matt Hancock gave a £37bn Covid testing contract to Jockey Club director Dido Harding, who subcontracted it to Grand National sponsor Randox, employer of Tory MP Owen Paterson, whose late wife chaired Aintree racecourse. That's how the Tories handled the pandemic.

...the PM is a good man trying to sort out the mess the Tories left behind.

But he's also gone through the loss of his brother last Christmas.

It's quote something to go through that and keep on running the country.

Rachel Johnson defending her brother on @lbc.co.uk currently just blamed the "statest establishment" for the failures.

"He's getting all the blame and none of the credit" and "he did his best."

Really Rachel? Well his best was appalling. This wasn't a gold club tombola. It was a pandemic.

Ian Dunt on his Substack is repeating the lie that Starmer plans to strip asylum seekers of their jewellery and property on the beach.

He used to be a reasonable commentator but has now become so virulently anti Starmer that he cannot longer distinguish between reality and Daily Mail lies.
