Not sure whether I'd consider myself terribly fortunate or horribly unlucky.
HMHS Britannic sank on this day in 1916. She had left Southampton on 12 November but hit a mine in the Aegean Sea nine days later. Thirty people died. Among the survivors were Violet Jessop, Arthur Priest, and Archie Jewell, who had all survived the sinking of Britannic’s sister, Titanic, in 1912.

It’s not a “US plan”, it’s Moscow’s plan, dictated to guilty men in the White House. Setting aside the injustices being pushed on Ukraine, this would be a disaster for European security & guarantee a war with 🇷🇺 in a few years, in which, presumably, 🇺🇸 and 🇷🇺 are on the same side.

@laboursatvir.bsky.social As my MP, you might choose to give consideration to this. You cannot blindly rely on our votes if you continue to try to out-Reform Reform in performative anti-immigrant policies. We will move elsewhere.
Yes, who would have thought. If you adopt a bash-liberals strategy, liberal voters will vote for someone else. And despite what they think in No.10, liberal voters do actually exist.
These are the voters that Labour strategists have made very clear over a long period of time that they don't want any more, and it's a message that has now been heard

Insane data from Germany shows how social media is geared towards more fringe political views. The left bar shows the share of uploaded videos by party on TikTok and the right bar shows what videos are shown in the feed. Social media loves the extremes and is NOT a fair mirror of reality.

Similarly, it was not a war crime in 1945 to drop an atomic bomb on a city. It may have been wicked. But that is not the same thing.
this is a pet peeve of mine. "war crime" is not something that means "bad thing I think is wrong". it is not a war crime to murder thousands of retreating enemy soldiers. it is a war crime to paint a Red Cross on a truck. if you think something is morally wrong just fucking say that.
ok so the basic problem here is that you have no idea what “war criminal” means except it’s a phrase that people react to
