Enjoyed seeing this cluster of paper birch trees while hiking the Landmark Trail yesterday in Mille Lacs Kathio State Park. They have grown from the roots of an older birch tree that has died.

ALSO, today’s 1,200 word front page story by the Strib’s retail reporter (the Strib doesn’t have a labor reporter) devotes exactly one sentence to Target’s blunders, implying that the boycott was brief.

I wonder whether the retail reporter ever reads the letters to the editor; this one ran on Sat.

Once again, the President is trying to divide instead of unite. His purported attempt to remove Temporary Protected Status for Somalis specifically in Minnesota should not be tolerated and is likely illegal.
