This would definitely not work on me..

..unless they gave me a revised version of the Vestas wind turbine set with a quieter motor and which uses an internet connected microcontroller to vary the speed of it based on the % of wind power on the grid.

I do think what is different about the right today to the right of even a few years ago is that by and large they were at least concerned with some real problems in amidst the imagined ones, these days I don't think I've seen them even acknowledge anything real in months?

Starmer went on to say "I'm aware some activists have raised concerns about operations on British streets by US troops, which some are calling "large scale killing of civilians", but I have referred the matter to the EHRC, who say they'll look into it as soon as they're done attacking trans people".
2027: US invades UK. PM calls it 'an admirable takeover which should be celebrated for its boldness'.

I think the UK being a society that is:
a) Infamously classist
b) Quite informal compared to the US
c) Non-confrontational most of the time

does a good job of creating pundits who are primed to completely lose their minds the moment someone talks back to them

While my expectations are admittedly low for Starmer, this is indefensible and so fucking weak.

If I created even one of these images I could be arrested.

Elon Musk's company publicly makes a myriad of them? "Maybe we'll ask Ofcom to look into it while we continue to publicly use their service."
Keir Starmer's spokesman tells me that X and Grok's creation of sexual deepfakes of children is "completely unacceptable" but again won't commit to taking direct action against them, or to stop posting there.

Says "all options are on the table" but suggests it's a matter for Ofcom, not Government

I was once trying to work out how to use the shower at a friend's house. Turned it on, and was suddenly startled by a really loud noise, which I then realised was coming from me, as I had managed to set the shower to scalding hot water, at full pressure, and had inadvertently aimed it at my balls..
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

Which, for some reason I don't quite understand, includes an icon for Mecca in the Automotive category (?), amidst the ones for different EV charge port connectors:
