The thing that will always stay with me is, how people sit next to Elon Musk and let him lie, for minutes on end, and refuse to challenge him on anything.

I'm building a underground highway? Neat!

This chain of logic is a vicious circle. The underlying issue is that even if non job critical courses were removed from all curriculums, the cost would not decrease because it isn't smart business to charge people less when they've demonstrated they're willing to pay more.
If I’m not a customer then why do I pay so much? I’m definitely a customer and as a customer I have certain expectations for the service rendered.
YOUR STUDENTS ARE NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Get the fuck out of education if that's the way you're talking about them.

A.I. and the Fetishization Of Ideas
In writing and in dispensing my (very dubious, probably shady) writing advice, I am often keen to note that ideas are bullshit. Most writers treat them like precious gems when really, ideas are lik…

It is a running joke of almost all creatives that we have a graveyard of concepts that we thought of, wrote down to work on later, and know we probably will never execute simply because there will not be enough time to try to realize more than maybe 10% of our 'ideas'.
Most artists are brimming with ideas. Ideas are easy.

The actual work of creation is harder.

But it's also the satisfying part. The fun part.

Vaccines and baby formula are probably the two biggest game changers for infant mortality. It isn't an accident he's attacking both. Culling the weak is a core principle of eugenics. He wants more dead babies. I know that sounds insane, but just look at what he does.
RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

Genuinely truly I hope that baby survives.

As I've said before, the early 2010s economy was bad in a lot of objective senses due to the slack labor market and sluggish growth, but it was something of a golden age if you were the kind of guy who wanted to sexually harass your interns. Bosses remember this bsky.app/profile/worl...
A bad economy is good for rich people if they can keep the poors from getting mad enough about it. The bust part of the boom and bust is when they consolidate power.

Plus the last American civil war would be a goddamn picnic compared to what they seem to want, which seems to be a bunch of independent militias just fighting in different neighborhoods rather than two at least semi professional armies fighting each other.
“let’s pack some snacks and raw milk and go watch daddy shoot some libs”-ass shit

you’d think they would know a tiny little bit about the conflict they fetishize but nah
What's sad is this is history repeating. They literally thought the same in the Civil War and hundreds of people showed up to the Battle of Bull Run to have a picnic and watch the battle. Including several members of Congress.

They had to flee from cannon fire and a few politicians were captured.

I don't know that shocked is the right word, but man have non Jewish Zionists gotten real comfy real fast telling Jewish people that they're being Jewish wrong.
Hillary Clinton sassing off "young Jewish Americans who don't know their own history" in a way that is disgustingly antisemitic. "They say from the river to the sea...they don't even know which river and which sea!" Fuck off.

One thing I've said from the beginning is that if there is one area LLMs will improve, it is their ability to have their output controlled. The idea is to filter all information through a chat bot. It's far more effective to parrot Breitbart talking points than direct normies to alt right sites.
Researchers tested several ways to train the AI chatbots to persuade people. The most effective tactic turned out not to be pyschological manipulation, but simply addressing voters' concerns one-by-one by presenting a ton of factual claims.

Troublingly, that worked even when the claims were false.

There are a few reasons this statement is absurd.

Firstly - We live in a world that rewards heartless greed and that includes the education system. The halls of higher education are already packed with nepo babies who took advantage of an unfair system.
I think filling the top ranks of our education system with people who got there in part by abusing a system designed to help disabled people will select morally deficient people for leadership positions in our society and is worth taking steps to avoid bsky.app/profile/padr...
