Sick of this dystopian tech overlord men with no panache and bad haircuts enabling a pants shitting president and bald hitler wannabe trying to undo things that can’t be undone ass reality we are living. They are so tedious and venal. It’s galling.

It’s more than a little fucked up that Star Trek: Lower Decks’ source files will just not exist or be usable by next year because of Adobe’s greed in shutting down Animate.

That’s an insane thing for a company to pull on a product used by many animation companies.

A retiree wrote this email to a DHS attorney. Within five hours, DHS demanded Google turn over records for his account.

A Kafkaesque form of domestic surveillance, intimidating Americans for lawful speech.

A super important paper, and one that I'm sure was incredibly difficult to publish. An exploration of sexual misconduct in legal academia (and why it's not talked about enough), something I'm sure is also true in other fields as well.

Agent: These guys were all threatening us yesterday with hand guns.
...
Agent: *Hand* guns, like threatening to shoot us.

Reporter: You mean like with hand symbols?

A: Pulling them out, trying to engage us.

R: Pulling out literal guns?

A: No. Making... assuming we were going to do something.

After decades of dem leadership pissing and moaning and fundraising about how complex an issue it is and how difficult the process is etc

jfc, I thought the DoJ "weaponization" group was just a moniker given to it by leftists, but it's its official name.

The Weaponization Working Group.

For someone whining so much about about weaponization of the DoJ this is too on the nose.

this phenomenon has been particularly maddening to me
Trump has finally delivered the Jade Helm presidency the far right warned of in 2015: a techno-authoritarian assault on the White House’s enemies. Only now instead of raising an alarm over a hoax, they’re cheering the real thing.

Welcome to the Jade Helm Presidency
Conservatives once panicked about a supposed federal plot to invade their communities and quash dissent. Now they’re cheering it.

I appointed Stanley Richards as Commissioner of DOC. Decades after he served time in our city’s jails, Commissioner Richards will now be the first formerly incarcerated person to lead them.

This is exciting but I am begging non-Texans to understand this seat will do literally nothing unless Abbott calls a special session.

He delayed this election a whole year specifically because Texas only does legislative sessions on odd years.

Both candidates are running again in November.
