Besides everything else, "an incursion of armed agents who forcibly removed a U.S. citizen from a residence without presenting a warrant or allowing him to show identification" is simply incompatible with US civil liberties.

One thing I’ve banged on about for years now is the problematic way the media treats “settled law” social science findings as neverending debates, in ways it doesn’t do for “hard” science knowledge. We don’t “debate” the laws of gravity the way we pretend we must for the economics of trade, etc.
