Shereen has lost most of her extended family and her husband recently (while holding her son) had a chain from an Israeli aircraft fall on him and shatter his arm/ give him a head injury- luckily little Ahmed was safe. She started this fundraiser after this happened because he can no longer help
I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Shereen. Shereen and her husband (a house painter) fled their home early in the war thinking it would only be for 2 days. She lost everything as well as many family members. Her main concern is getting her son, Ahmed, 4 into a kindergarten.

An illegal street racer pulled up to me in Malta & threw This House of Grief at me, shouting, "Read it, you English dolt!" Then screeched off. This is a terrible way to get me to read anything but I picked it up from where it had ricocheted off a now dead pigeon and devoured it in 2 days. Brilliant.

The Democrats have never really cared about universal health care access. (They got ACA through because it preserved, and extended, the current, anti-universal system.) So increased premiums are quite tolerable to them. We need something different and better.

I have twin nephews and when I think of them at 2.5 I can’t even imagine dealing with them in the rubble of Gaza- Qamar has so much on her plate and needs to get food for her twins as well as for Elias who has a significant disability. Please help if you can.
I‘m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Qamar. Qamar has three children Elias, 5 and twins Abdul and Muhammad who are two and a half. Elias was born with cerebral palsy and has a variety of health issues, including lung problems for the smoke from the wood stove in their tent.
