One of the wilder sentiments I’ve seen in a few productions is producers seen as the enemy of creative folks. Some team teams foster an “Us vs Them” mentality which is deeply unhealthy. Producers are there to help keep things on track and facilitate communication among so much else. Speaking for me,

Police shot him, and bystanders kicked him in the head while he was down, thinking he was the terrorist.

Using AI slop as "reference" images is so insane to me. The point of reference images is that they anchor fictional imagery you're generating in real things, and because they're real images that come from somewhere, they're also doorways to further research.

Journalist challenge: Use “Machine Learning” when you mean machine learning and “LLM” when you mean LLM. Ditch “AI” as a catch-all term, it’s not useful for readers and it helps companies trying to confuse the public by obscuring the roles played by different technologies. 🧪
