Society is a construct. You can just ask someone to do a ska cover of Faith of the Heart and they'll say "$300 please" and you give it to them and then you have it.

Everyone, give

A friend described it eloquently... Two evil men got into a fight. Now we have one less evil men.

It's not GOOD, but still an arguably better situation for Venezuela.
My wife is a Venezuelan immigrant.

So far, she and her family are safe and celebrating the capture of Maduro. Of course, no one likes Trump or what his administration plans to do with Venezuela. But Maduro's capture is a silver lining they're grateful for. Like what they say about a broken clock...

Super anticipating this book! For one, it legitimizes (GLOBALLY) my own personal experience. Being published in an official TF comic alone connected me with a greater world. This video shows that my own experiences weren't unique, so I feel even more connected than before.

Not only is this outstanding, but it reminds me of an excellent bit by @pattonoswalt.bsky.social on the right’s strategically deploying certain language to advance discriminatory policies, and the need to look at the broader message being advanced: youtu.be/AkKo1_RP_0c?...

For the last couple of days, we've had a resident bird take refuge in the eaves of our front porch. Haven't been able to quite identify it, it we're glad it finds us to be safe hosts on these cold winter nights.

God, I love Scrooged as a modern day version of A Christmas Carol. And I wish someone had the balls to make a more current version, but sadly no one seems to. I only hope that one is produced in the next 25-50 years...

I was an autumn baby, so if we're talking the month I turned 10, it would be Alien Nation. But if we're talking the biggest movie while I was the age of 10...dunno what that means about my 2026.

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of this series, I picked up the first and only DVD set that was released, just in case of an event like this! Same with the Dreamworks Voltron show, though I LOVED that one. At least they gave us a heads up so folks can start backing it up digitally now.
‘She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’ is scheduled to leave Netflix on February 21, 2026.

I have so many fond memories of this device and I still mourn that I had to give mine up to pay bills back in the day. The recent ports are nice, but the overall experience with the actual device can never truly be replicated.
A year ago, I kicked off a long-term project to cover the Neo Geo Pocket / Color library. And now! You can freely watch my first NGP video at my YouTube channel.

(Patrons, I'm aiming to have episode 7 completed this month, wrapping the monochrome library)

It seems every couple of weeks, some critter comes to visit me outside my warehouse door. This week was a rat snake I named Speedbump, cuz that's what he almost was. He was full of sass and not interested in my bullshit. (Got my first snake bite!)
