All professions require specific professional dress. Outfits should make it clear that someone is trained to be a teacher, a lawyer, or a mechanic. By not having specific uniforms, it makes professions less respectable and less safe.

So new studies showcase that the more you know how GenAi works, the less likely you are to use it! 😌

This reminds me of ai advocates who claim that those who refuse to use GenAi do so because they dont know how it works, yet it’s the opposite!
The less you know the more you are likely to use GenAi
The Less You Know About AI, the More You Are Likely to Use It
AI can seem magical to those with low AI literacy, a new study finds. That, in turn, might make them more willing to try it.

I believe one of the new mRNA vaccines was expected to treat colon cancer, and another had the potential to keep pancreatic cancer from recurring. That’s what they’re taking away.

I realize broad science-literacy problems cannot generally be solved just by shoving more facts at people but I really wish more people understood that the entire purpose and mechanism of a vaccine is to educate your OWN immune system, making it about the most "natural" medical intervention possible

It is so weird to me to run across people who still want “complicated morally gray” characters right now.

Give me the goshdang paladins.

Start a goody-two-shoes IV.

We need good. We need to be reminded what good looks like. We are all so angry. Where do we put that?

Spouse picked up the game "Squirrel with a gun," and it is exactly what it sounds like. You are a squirrel. You are doing normal squirrel things like eating what appears to be an acorn. The acorn was not an acorn, and now government agents are after you.

Results in 15 minutes.

Ce dernier détecte correctement quasiment 100% des échantillons négatifs et autour de 92% de ceux positifs (pour le Covid comme pour la grippe).

Résultat en une quinzaine de minutes.
