The answer, in terms of 'what the Average Joe do to combat the attempts to oust trans people from society' is to just start new clubs that are renamed the inclusive womens institute, and let their crusty old clubs die with their members.

The Women's Institute disabled comments and quote posts so of course they know that changing their membership rules to disclude transwomen is utterly shameful. Time for anyone still in the WI to take a stand and leave if they haven't already because staying in now directly condones bigotry.

If you are a member of the WI why? They are hate supporters. Leaves these awful organisations and tell your friennds what staying in them means they are condoning.
Apparently the decision of the WI to rescind trans inclusion was prompted in part by an internal faction. If I were a cis member of the WI, I would want those bigots named,shamed and shunned.

I find it intresting how living in Edinburgh, other mum's on the school run used to scoff at me for putting up Christmas Lights and tree by 1 Dec. "It's just not done here until 2 weeks at most before Christmas" however now out of Edin, been seeing house lights up and some trees since mid Nov!

Woke up to fine someone had driven across our lawn for some distance in a place that clearly isn't for driving and thankfully it is just grass and can be fixed but it's literal boundary violating and feels bad. We didn't see or hear who did it and that is frustrating.
