PSA Neck gaiters are not masks. Neck gaiters are not effective at stopping the spread of airborne viruses. Masks, especially well-fitting ones are effective at preventing infection. Conflating the two is bad because it can encourage politicians to ban masks for the general public.

I feel like Nintendo redesigning Princess Peach to more closely resemble the 2023 movie version is sort of a Monkey's Paw deal. Like, yeah, her old official model has a very stiff, doll-like face that isn't capable of much in terms of expression, and it's great they're moving away from that... (1/2)

Is-"dude"-gendered discourse always throws me because around here that's a familiarity problem long before gender enters into it. I don't care to be called "dude" by strangers because we don't have that kind of relationship, and I wouldn't call a stranger "dude" unless I was being rude on purpose.
