when i first realized i was genderfluid i had no idea where i fit cause i was afraid of being called a freak but more afraid of being called an imposter. i found a place under the trans umbrella and i am grateful for the acceptance, but mortified there are still so many gatekeepers.
I think we should always be extremely skeptical about any kind of “they’re not really trans, they’re some kind of freak” attack on a trans person, pretty much no matter why it’s happening.
