This is ultimately what I’ll hang my hat on when it comes to access to spaces. It would be absurd to suggest that Parliament requires applicants for a GRC to live in the acquired gender but doesn’t expect them to use spaces in line with their gender…
That would run counter to the express provisions of the GRA, though, which requires the applicant to live in the acquired sex for two years BEFORE they can apply for a GRC.

There is nothing in the Constitution that forbids a president from mass redacting FBI documents to hide evidence of his sex crimes. So the Democrat Party's outrage du jour is, as always, much ado about nothing.

It's the inevitable dissonance between the very over-generous popular perception/political portrayal of UK anti-trans politics as just having some modest technical concerns, and actually engaging with these people at a deeper level and discovering it really is just obsessive crude gutter-level hate.

It's incredible, isn't it, that trying to do whatever the people who hate you wants doesn't make them hate you any less yet absolutely destroys any respect or warmth from you amongst the people who didn't hate you.

Starmer wants to be a British Macron. He's succeeding, but not in the way he hoped.
Well that’s worked, hasn’t it – disapproval absolutely skyrocketing among Labour voters, but 1% down among Reform voters!

Surely at some point Starmer will have to stop courting the votes of people who’ll never vote for him. But has he left it too late to rescure the votes of people who once did?
