I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

The most telling part of this is how he talks about the doctors telling him he did a good job. Anyone who's dealt with neurological injury can tell you that doctors are trained to lie to the patient about their performance to keep them calm. Even if you completely fail they want to encourage you.

Seriously. For most transhet girls we grew up as gay boys before we figured out the woman part, and I guaran-fucking-tee we got more shit for it than your average transbian wanting to be her girlfriend.
I don't think it's morally neutral to dunk on a woman for the same sexuality she got the shit beat out of her for repeatedly as a child regardless of intention. The fact that some people see me as hyper-gay and others see me as straight doesn't change the consequential context either way.

Frankly silksong could use a few more goombas imo. There's something to be said for simple enemies who can be dispatched quickly, even in later game zones. Not every enemy needs a moveset bigger than many HK bosses.
I do have to concede: the bulk of Hollow Knight is significantly easier than Silksong for the simple reason that 4/5 enemies are some variety of Goomba, just walking into your sword. The biggest risk on most screens is getting spooked and losing your chill.

i think my favourite part about being a trans woman is how much of an impact we have on culture. a friend reminded me today about a popular meme format she created. another friend today casually told me about how she was the most notorious roblox hacker when she was a child.

Silksong review: just install the no double damage mod. It's incredible the extent to which that one change has reduced my frustration with the game while preserving plenty of challenge for me, a somewhat decent gamer. The rest of the game's frictional design is easier when you can take a hit.

One of the most simple and core tenets of being pro LGBT is not judging people for who they love and are attracted to, so yeah I think it's ridiculous when people pull the "you're into men? I'm so sorry for you" card, god forbid someone be able to freely express who they love
Romantic relationships between trans women and cis men are immensely stigmatized and this falls hardest on the trans women.
Something I value about writing transhet fiction is the chance to create positive depictions of relationships like this, with trans women being loved, valued, protected.

Real I'm afraid. Men get exposed to a LOT of vitriol from their peers for dating us, and often we don't hear about it because they don't want to heap it onto us. I was shocked when my first cis bf told me how much shit his family and friends gave him, it's what drives so much of the struggle.
I’m not comfortable with the challenges of dating men as a trans women being reduced entirely to “men are dangerous.”
There’s more to it than that and much of that can also be dangerous TO the men we love and who love us.
