The concept of posting “Canada is not considering a ban of X” as a QUOTE of your post condemning deepfake sexual abuse happening **ON X** of women and kids………….

Hey there, Prime Minister! Will any of these officers be investigating section 163 of the Criminal Code in regards to X/Elon Musk/Grok? Now that the feature is paywalled, Musk is profiting from CSAM.

Musk is still in possession of his Canadian citizenship and is thus open to prosecution in Canada.

Best TikTok thing going is the two dudes trying food from every country without leaving NYC. If you haven’t seen them yet, it’s incredible. My favorite so far is last week’s. Legit got me emotional.

oldhead advice from an oldhead.

every couple years, newcomers to the movement think "THIS is finally it, the moment when the dam breaks and the whole system is overthrown"

and when it doesn't happen they lose patience and get disillusioned and drop out of movement work

Question for people that know more about AI than I do - there suddenly seems to be a focus on AI-driven toys/fake pets. Is this because AI companies are realizing the current training methods will never be truly effective, and these toys are an attempt to train via the observation method instead?

Why is Canada’s “minister of artificial intelligence and digital innovation” (fake job, btw) actively using a website generating CASM? It’s literally your “job” to regulate this?

I am a “Ben Affleck killed Ken Taylor” truther (yes I know he died like three years after the movie came out shut up let me have this)
Oh man, it must suck to have your contributions to a project ignored on such a massive stage.

Reminds me that time when some guy made a movie about the ingenious plan a bunch of Canadian officials made to smuggle US embassy personnel out of Iran, but the movie credited the CIA for the plan instead.

This is a dangerous and irresponsible response.

Cheering the illegal abduction of a foreign head of state and celebrating U.S. control over another country is wrong.

Fun fact! Reuters is owned by the Thomson family, which recently teamed up with the Westons (the grocery family that conspired to fix the price of bread in Canada) to purchase the Hudson Bay Company treaty instead of returning it to Indigenous communities. Colonists gonna colonist.
quite the opposite actually. in breaking news reuters is often wrong and why no newsroom worth their salt will ever quote them but do run the ap.
It’s old-fashioned to defend mainstream journalism these days but some of the most reliable reporting from people actually on the ground will be the AP and Reuters the next 24 hours. Your Substack journalist writing takes will be using frontline reporting from them.
