Labour Together is a hate group mate.
Page 30.
The bigotry towards people who are transgender is not incidental.
It was and is a central plank of the Labour Party to gain and retain power. This is who our government is and every LGBT person should never forget this.

"Starmer says scrapping two-child benefit cap was ‘long-standing ambition’"

He literally stripped the whip from 7 of his own MPs just last year for daring to stand up to him not ending it then.

Does he think we're all stupid or what? And why isn't the media coverage mentioning that recent context?

SEEN needs to spell out how astonishingly improper this is. A Gender Critical activist ‘journalist’ openly admits he was “invited to address the judge” in a criminal trial, even though he says himself he “doesn’t technically have standing”. This should NEVER happen in court.

Worth pointing out that this is a direct breach of the manifesto
NEW - the government poised to water down flagship workers rights bill, ditching day one rights to unfair dismissal but reducing qualifying period from two years to six months.

But in concession to unions, government will remove provisions for up to nine months probation.

It is IMO not possible to operate any kind of meaningful democracy when your national press is a joke and a travesty, but your mileage on that may vary. I think it’s incontestable that it is impossible to govern well and effectively, while being in hock to these pantomime clowns.

Like I say: in America, they have Fox News. In Britain everything is Fox News, whether in the screaming shit-up-the-walls version of the Mail or in the arm’s length Many People Would Contend We Need More Migrant Camps form of BBC News. And this is much, much worse.

Wow. BBC journalists are now not even allowed to report the censored line from my Reith Lecture, that Trump is “the most openly corrupt president in American history.”

You can hear how carefully they’re forced to tiptoe around it. So chilling...

idk anything about her but the charity commission was corrupted by the tories

that's how far right hate groups like 'sex matters' and 'lgb alliance' and so on got their charity status approved

i doubt this new appointment will make a difference but it would be nice if labour fixed our institutions
On Tuesday the Culture, Media & Sport Select Committee
questioned Dame Julia Unwin ahead of recommending her appointment as Chair of the Charity Commission.

Good to be able to raise some of the concerns small charities have shared with me about lack of collaboration.

I'd encourage trans journalists to read this as well. Lots of good hints in here on not only ways to write stories in a better way, but also good advice to give to fellow writers.
9. For more scientific and culturally competent ways of covering trans issues, reporters can consult the Trans Journalists Association’s Stylebook and Coverage Guide—a tool for newsrooms to bolster their coverage of trans people and the stories that affect them.

1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.

This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

BBC Now Calling Trans Women 'Biological Males Who Identify As Women'
These stories come in the aftermath of allegations that a small but mighty cabal of “LGBT reporters” had somehow seized control of the BBC and “censored” right-wing views.

When they're forced to apologise for calling out an election denier, it's a global scandal.

When they grudgingly apologise for *failing* to call out a climate denier, it's nothing to see here, business as usual.

The UK has more than enough money to fund our public services and rebuild our infrastructure. But it's hoarded by a tiny minority.

The 50 richest families now hold more wealth than 50% of the population combined.

A tax on the wealth of the top 1% would raise over £70 billion.

wait they don't want that study happening either? i thought they'd like it since it's being done by a known hate group and is essentially putting the participants thru a form of anti-trans conversion therapy

Fuck this union into the fucking sea.
