The ironic thing about this is that his identity became known because Kristi Noem mentioned this officer had been hit and dragged by a car in June in Minnesota. Only 1 officer matched that description in court documents.

Noem unmasked her own ICE agent.

This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.

Every time I think of the acolyte I’m so grateful because we got a show like that, pushing the boundaries, and it was chock full of writers, producers, musicians, and crew who were black, asian, queer, etc. that is so special these days. Especially when Star Wars doesn’t usually have that.

Absolutely horrific details about an ICE shooting in Minneapolis.

A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times."

Emily Heller lives near 33rd and Portland and said she woke up to a commotion outside her home. She said she saw a car blocking traffic on Portland Avenue that appeared to be part of a protest against federal law enforcement operations. Heller said she heard ICE agents telling the driver, a woman, to “get out of here.” “She was trying to turn around, and the ICE agent was in front of her car, and he pulled out a gun and put it right in — like, his midriff was on her bumper — and he reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times,” Heller said. Heller said it appeared the woman then accelerated and traveled about 100 feet before striking a utility pole and some other vehicles. She could be seen slumped over inside her car.

When Black characters appear in fantasy, they are typically marginal. The side characters who appear once or twice, rarely with depth or interiority. More as an afterthought than as a full character. This marginalization is not just oversight; it is a reproduction of the suburbs in the realm of imagination, where whiteness dominates the center and Blackness exists only at the edges. When fans resist the inclusion of Black characters in fantasy (like some asks I've seen around artists' dashes, arguing for “historical accuracy” in worlds filled with dragons, wizards, and gods), they reveal the truth: Fantasy is not about realism, but about preserving a comfort zone. Including Blackness shatters the illusion of a timeless white world, forcing recognition of a reality many white people avoid in their daily lives. The fantasy must remain as segregated as the suburb. This is why supporting Black-centered fantasy art is crucial. We need Black Lúthiens, a Black Maia Queen, Black kings, and Black warriors, not simply for “representation,” but to break the stranglehold of whiteness on the imagination. Why shouldn't an Ainur Queen be Black? Why shouldn’t Lúthien, the greatest of Tolkien’s heroines, be Black? Why shouldn’t Ar-Pharazôn, the most powerful Númenórean king, be imagined as Black? Why shouldn’t the most cunning Nazgûl bear a Black face? Blackness carries beauty, power, tragedy, and depth. To see it only in the margins is to deny its rightful place in the center.

Trump issued a threat against Venezuela’s Interim President Delcy Rodríguez, saying that, “if she doesn’t do what’s right, she is going to pay a very big price, probably bigger than Maduro,” adding that he would not stand for Rodríguez’s “defiant rejection” of military intervention by the United States. Additionally, during the interview, President Trump reaffirmed that Venezuela may not be the last country subject to American intervention, or even that it would remain isolated to Latin America, clearly stating, “We do need Greenland, absolutely,” while describing the island which is a part of Denmark, a close-ally and member of NATO, as “surrounded by Russian and Chinese ships.”

The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control.
