Have to quote this again because GoFundMe accounts are following and publicly tagging me asking for donations. I hate having to block these accounts but I will because they're ignoring the pinned post.

This is how I'm helping. Don't push me to pick and choose specific people.
Going to pin this as a general PSA for new followers:

I do not honor requests for donations from individuals who follow then DM me. I am supporting Gaza through a monthly contribution to the United Nations Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund.

Thank you for your understanding.

R+6 or 7 is a great result for Dems here regardless but with 93% of 2022 turnout this is terrifying for Rs

they cannot rely on "oh this is just special election turnout differential"

almost everyone showed up and a lot of them voted the other way
14% swing from 2024 when all is said and done? Pretty good considering just how high-profile the race became in the last week

Turnout is currently *93%* of 2022, and it's also a 14% swing from 2022 despite similar turnout levels

So the lesson is: if Republicans freak out, spend all the money they can in the last two weeks, and get good rural turnout, they can limit Democratic overperformance relative to 2024 to 16 points.

It is actually crazy that #TN07 was as close to Generic Republican vs Generic Democrat as you can get (and that's being a little generous to Aftyn Behn) and it's resulting in a D+15 overperformance.

Adjust your 2026 priors accordingly!

And this isn't your imagination, or a fake problem I'm fabricating to get mad at. It's a few weeks until 2026 and we still have the opinions of *James Carville* force-fed to us like fois gras geese every 2-3 months. This is not normal. It's not. It's not supposed to work like this.

I keep being torn between "surely they can't actually lose this, the realistic outcome is them only winning it by low single digits" and "hey uh they're acting like they for real think they're going to lose this"
oh they're PANICKED lol

I keep seeing stuff about a petition and like, contact your reps directly. Sign that too if you want, but petition signatures are a lesser priority.
Congress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children.

Committee hearings begin tomorrow.
Lawmakers to consider 19 bills for childproofing the internet
KOSA is back, along with more than a dozen other bills that will erode free speech and privacy in the name of protecting kids.

The end of Jim Crow. Roe v. Wade. Same-sex marriage. Obama. Young leftists see these things as normal and don't realize there are people who remember a world before it.

If you're an older leftist you've lived through the revolution. If you're an older rightist, you've lived through the apocalypse.

The city attorney is filing the first government lawsuit in the US against manufacturers of ultraprocessed food.

He argues that cities are burdened with the cost of treating diseases that ultraprocessed food brings on.

They’re describing it as a “shock and awe” campaign, which is why it’s essential to show them there’s huge opposition NOW. Call / email your reps to let them know you oppose censorship bills like KOSA and the SCREEN.

Read up and get involved in the @fightforthefuture.org Week of Action.
With SCREEN Act and KOSA on the legislative block this week, there couldn't be a better time for Fight's "Stop Online ID Checks" Week of Action.

Today's action: Share and sign the petition.
