"Investment grade" isn't a holy writ. One cause of the subprime mortgage crisis was the improper rating of >$3 trillion in bad credit / undocumented income mortgages as "AAA," the highest level.

And let's not be naïve: the ratings agencies don't audit borrowers, they use what they're given.
Of the $40 trillion private credit market, roughly $38 trillion is debt rated as investment grade, about 95% of the market. This vast pool is split between bank balance sheets and investors and plays a critical role in financing the economy. Increasingly, long-dated private credit held by pension funds and insurers is financing the long-term needs of critical infrastructure — from energy transition to data and manufacturing — providing the patient, flexible funding that traditional markets cannot offer. Simply put, banks generally finance shorter durations while investors finance longer ones. Myth No. 1: Private credit is not rated. Investment-grade private credit is almost always rated, either internally by a bank or externally by ratings companies. The largest and best-known of these — Moody’s, S&P and Fitch — have the largest share of ratings in this market. Most private credit held by insurers and other financial institutions is rated investment grade. At Apollo’s Athene subsidiary, for example, roughly 97% of fixed-income assets are investment grade, and only 0.35% is levered loans that are below investment grade — typical for well-run insurance companies.

Excerpt from ruling: “Bluntly put, why the Court ruled as it did remains unclear-and without reasoning, this order cannot even be considered as persuasive. Second, Justice Kavanaugh's conclusion that the plaintiffs lacked standing in Perdomo rested on the claims asserted in that case specifically, plaintiffs there sought to enjoin defendants from targeting individuals for immigration stops based on certain factors, such as race or ethnicity, their accent, and the type of work they did. Id. Justice Kavanaugh reasoned that plaintiffs in Perdomo likely lacked standing under Lyons, as defendants may "stop suspected illegal immigrants based on a variety of factors," and thus "plaintiffs ha[d] no good basis to believe that law enforcement will unlawfully stop them in the future" based "only on [prohibited] factors." Id. at *3 (emphases in original). In contrast, this case concerns an entirely different context, namely, civil immigration arrests rather than immigration stops, which were at issue in Perdomo, and a different type of challenge. Specifically, plaintiffs are not arguing which factors defendants may consider in their application of a legal standard, but rather contend that defendants have abandoned the proper legal standard entirely.
