This is classic scapegoating — blaming refugees for a healthcare crisis caused by decades of underfunding and privatization.

These charges are cruel and punitive. We won’t fix a broken system by putting up new barriers for people who are already struggling.

That's millions of our tax dollars into the bank accounts of Galen Weston and Co. Dollars that could be put to far better use.

Do something about price-gouging and uncompetitive behaviour in the grocery sector instead of rewarding it.

That won’t happen if our political leaders refuse to quit toxic platforms like Twitter. What are they waiting for? #cdnpoli

Twitter is a litmus test for Canada
With Twitter, the medium really is the message — one that should be clearly unacceptable for our elected officials and political leaders.

But this negates adding.0.17% to the mill rate right?
So for shitz and giggles, let's say that's the only decrease we get to the mill rate. So 15.52% rather than 15.69% - in real money, that's a "saving" of 63cents a month. But for that saving, I have to spend an extra $6 on bus fare?
