I think we need to stop talking to each other, "what would you do if that was your kid" and instead talk to elected officials, "if you do not prioritize gun legislation, you will not know peace". the US population is crystal clear on gun violence. We don't want it.

Sickening behavior by this agent. The fact that Mayor Adams has rolled out the red carpet for ICE is a stain on our city.
I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

It has been wild to see what were always the two most paranoid pro-Second Amendment scenarios—the government snatching people away and sending occupying armies into communities—literally happen this year, to the delight of conservatives
There can’t be any gun restrictions because we have to protect against federal government tyranny, and if kids get shot we just have to live with it. Also the President can send troops to cities because the federal government can do whatever it wants. These two ideas are consistent and reasonable.
