So often I'm watching like... why is everyone being so mean to this CLEARLY neurodiverse person??? Like, haha so funny torturing the "quirky" people. Not a good look.

I generally enjoy Hallmark level movies, but occasionally my reality brain will make it hard to stay in the bubble. Like, they took the snow plow for MULTIPLE DAYS??? During a storm? Sure hope no one needed the pass clear at any point during that time!

Think about that for a minute: if your MMR has worn off, or you’re in the age group that didn’t automatically get a second one, or you’re part of whatever % it is of people who just don’t respond to the measles vax (we don’t know why, we don’t know SO MUCH about the immune system)—
The thing about measles is that it’s the only known virus that triggers immune amnesia - it causes your immune system to forget everything it has previously learned. Meaning you essentially reset to zero and are now at risk of basically everything.
It can take 2-3 years to get immunities back.
