While there is a lot to say about this image, the thing that stands out to me the most - what IMO makes genAI a specifically right wing phenomenon - is the craving for approval. It is not enough to be able to generate robot lingerie warrior lady. They NEED to also be praised for doing it.

I gave myself under two hours so I don't overthink the strokes that I made. But I think I did pretty decent for someone very rusty, like riding a bike.
P.S. I definitely took more than an hour because I couldn't find my blow-dryer to speed up the drying process.

It's being marketed as a quick time-saver, but it's messy, inaccurate, it is putting entire industries of people out of work, and the environmental impacts (energy and water usage) are huge and debilitating.

i can't fathom how BORING this must be honestly. i love making comics because there's SO much you can UNIQUELY do with this medium in storytelling! it's EXCITING and wonderful and i love finding new ways to communicate this way
