They've started replacing the "welcome to the borough" signs so they say Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani instead of Mayor Adams.

So, the frog stopped the National Guard from coming to Portland, along with astute lawsuits by Oregon. Only part of what's happening, but hard to understate how fundamentally the Portland Frog changed perceptions and helped morale. Humor, imagination, courage, savvy.

For those who didn't spot it right away... Sure seems like having AG Letitia James swear him in is saying it with his whole chest. A great start.

Our Solar System is orbiting the center of our Galaxy at about 220 km/s so in 2025 we collectively traveled something like 7 billion kilometers across the Milky Way. Once in a while, when you have a moment, it’s worthwhile to take a look around, see where you are, and appreciate how far you’ve come.

How is this EXCLUSIVE video from Meidas?

It was a closed deposition. Recorded by the govt. Released to the public, including the press? Available to everyone at the same time? Unless leak/bribe?

If it's a U.S. govt product, why is Meidas branding it so heavily? It's just a freaking clip!
Question: Did anyone from the White House, including President Biden, ever tell you they expected you to bring charges against Donald Trump?

Smith: No.

Here's a really easy New Year's Resolution:
If you're sick with something contagious, you will stay home if your circumstances allow.

If you can't stay home, you will mask around others until there is no possibility you are contagious.

By making these choices, you will literally save lives.

“It will not be fixed by one election” is the message many Americans don’t seem to have received yet
I've told my colleagues in Germany it's not safe to travel here.

I don't think most Americans have a fucking clue how mad everyone is with the US.

It will not be fixed by one election.

Permanent damage. Generational.
Talking with people at a holiday gathering here in Toronto last night, and when it came up, most of us nodded that we likely won’t ever visit the United States again.

It’s a weird feeling, and weird to acknowledge in a group.
