they only pulled this shit to get a trans person removed from her position. i don’t think it’s any deeper than that. the essay was bad and clearly didn’t fit the assignment since not only one but two of the people grading the course explained why the essay was bad with more kindness than necessary

Jimin was in my dream.☺️ It appeared I worked in some building where people had to tap in with their ID’s, but Jimin always had some technical issue, so every time he’d come in, I’d help him. Also, somehow he was in a math class I was taking, too. He had blond hair,too.

Some folks have brought this up in comments, but just saying... maybe we should ACTUALLY PAY ATTENTION to the multitude of studies showing COVID infections (even "mild" ones) cause brain changes and ongoing cognitive decline. We've been letting our young people get COVID over & over & over again.
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

I went to a national park during the summer once, & I’ll never forget the mom I saw who berated her small child for being tired. She told them, “You gotta be stronger if you want to do things like this!”

and now most healthcare facilities, regardless of being MAHA or not, don't require masks*. hospital-acquired covid infections are particularly bad, but even a totally asymptomatic covid infection still causes cumulative damage. all the while, more kids currently have long covid than asthma.
And COVID showed that MAHA and MAHA doctors have a very high tolerance for kids dying from vaccine preventable diseases.
