Still thinking about November 4, 2025: the day we found out Dick Cheney died, Zohran Mamdani became the mayor-elect of NYC, and Shane Bieber accepted his player option w/ the Blue Jays. A trifecta of truly surprising and delightful moments. It was a wonderful day and we deserve more days like that.

Lol what a f*cking asshole 🤦🏼‍♀️

It's actually extremely difficult to come off as this much of a smug dick in like twelve seconds and yet, he did it!

These old Liberal white men in charge are setting policy priorities that diminish the value of minorities, women, and youth.

I'm so sick of them. 🤮
David Cochrane asks about the fact that it would’ve been impossible for the coastal First Nations to travel from their communities to meet the feds on the timeline the govt offered.

“It’s called Zoom,” Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson responds.

Jesus CHRIST.

Wherein the CEO of Microsoft AI demonstrates he doesn't understand the difference between feeling underwhelmed by what it can do (most people think it's impressive) and being underwhelmed by its benefits (water and energy consumption, job losses, consolidating power and wealth... for what?!?!).

The level of self-own here by centrists only to have Trump fangirl all over Mamdani is really representative of the broader issue with moderates who are beholden to the capital and consultant class. Socialist policies are quite popular when you talk to the average voter. Democrats/Liberals... 🤦🏼‍♀️.
BREAKING: The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

Eighty-six Democrats joined Republicans in supporting the measure, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

In case you're wondering what people mean when they say Carney is in fact buddying up with Trump and Epstein loving partners for the LNG pipeline that is, in fact, not at all "Elbows Up". You can email your MP to ask them not to push through this project.
So here's the favour I want to ask: if this post crosses your feed, please take this chance to support the Gitxsan and Gitanyow by watching our latest HGA and passing it on.

Help us put Ksi Lisims and PRGT on the map 🙏

I wanted to stop the Conservatives as much as the next girl, but there's no good reason to be supporting Carney or the Libs anymore. Gotta get to work rebuilding the party that cares about people, privacy, planet, and beyond. #NDP #NoMoreLibs
You've probably heard of Bill C-12 and C-2, but there's a slate of other bills that, when assembled together transformer style, could create a freedom repression machine that rivals the one south of the border.

Okay still thinking about it because this is so true and I won't accept arguments stating otherwise.
If the Jays win, it'll be a well-timed miraculous Cinderella story celebrated by a whole nation. If the Dodgers win, it'll be because they refused to pick a ball off the ground in game 6.

This is the type of content I'm mainlining just so I don't have to think about the Blue Jays players being sad about not winning the WS (but winning the hearts of the world). Weird times.
It should be the first question asked of Poilievre by media in every single interview, every time. And his ridiculous, illogical excuses should be challenged vigorously. Unless Poilievre submits to the standard, normal security check, Canadians should assume the worst about why he refuses to.
PM Carney takes a jab at PoiLIEvre: “You know, one of the advantages of having your security clearance is you’re better informed about some of the threats [facing Canada], and I highly recommend that anyone either in a position of responsibility—or seeking it—has their security clearance.”

Not a Dodger fan... But this is relatable.
As a Dodgers fan, I literally feel like Sarah Connor at the end of the first Terminator. That’s how good the Blue Jays were.

Like we won but I’m so traumatized I’m going to lose custody of my son because I trained him to shoot weapons in Nicaragua and I’ll end up in a max cell at Pescadero

AnD ANOTHER THING! I'm glad they didn't win at home in front of their fans.

The Jays lost to Yamamoto and Yamamoto only. He's incredible and remains the dragon they can't slay. Good for him, he deserves MVP. And that's all I've got for the Dodgers.

Just wanna pour my heart out a bit about how this Blue Jays team was built on guys consistently getting taken down a peg, forced into uncomfortable circumstances, and coming out the other side.

Amazon is planning to cut as many as 30,000 corporate jobs beginning Tuesday, as the company works to pare expenses and compensate for overhiring during the peak demand of the pandemic, according to three people familiar with the matter.
