Remember when Vice President Harris bought a few quality cooking items at a French cookery store with her own money and legacy media melted down?

J.D. Vance literally used the Army Corps of Engineers to manipulate a public waterway, so he’d have an easier time kayaking and it’s a blip on the radar.

Epstein is an unending onion of demonstration of just how thoroughly this country does not care about girls and women being sexually assaulted.

This seems to be a good moment to remind folks that it was a singularly bad idea to elect a convicted felon - a man found liable for sexual abuse, who bragged about grabbing women, and consorted with the world’s most notorious pedophile — to the presidency.

Donald Trump gives people permission to be their worst selves. His politics are not just representative, they are generative. His words seep into people’s souls and slowly corrode whatever potential for human decency ever resided there.
Floridians are taking pictures of themselves next to the sign for their new death camp

As I've said before, giving this concentration camp a cutesy name is reprehensible

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Final tally of mentions on Maria Bartiromo's show today

Medicaid: 0
Biden: 34
We're 50 minutes into today's edition of Maria Bartiromo's Sunday Morning Futures, and the word "Medicaid" has not been mentioned once. But Biden? He's been mentioned 25 times.

What a f’d up country.
A year ago today, a jury of everyday New Yorkers concluded Donald Trump was a criminal.

They looked at the evidence, pondered for a while, & reasoned that he — without a doubt — faked documents to hide a sexual affair from voters in 2016.

I was in the courtroom then. He's in the White House now.

Interesting that the administration that claims to dislike it when refugees seek residency *illegally* is arresting refugees in *courts* when the seek immigration legally.

MAGAs are just xenophobic white supremacist bigots.

Been saying this for awhile, but will repeat it for emphasis: If you love freedom but don’t care if it applies to everyone, what you actually love is privilege.

I said it would get worse very quickly. By tomorrow we will have completed the most dangerous & frightening 24 hours thus far of Trump 2.0. Just to name a few:
1. Defiance of a court order by sending migrants to Sudan without due process (despite clear DP decision SCOTUS) & Dist. CT. order.

Trump is trying to deregulate crypto as his personal businesses get more involved in the industry.

He also just gutted the DOJ team that investigates crypto fraud.

This may be one of most overt conflicts of interest in presidential history and it's hardly a blip on the news.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

It’s still hard to believe the simple fact that this is all self-imposed. Everything that’s happening right now wasn’t the result of some foreign adversary destroying the country. We did this all to ourselves by electing the dumbest motherfucker to ever rule a nation.

Yes. But they are missing that much of this has to be performative. That’s what Trump is great at and Dems are awful at.

You can’t just tell voters , you have to know how to sell voters.

Trump gives sales pitches, Dems show charts. One goes viral. The other is ignored and forgotten
This was the way.

I really can’t wrap my head around congressional Democrats’ response to the past 12 days of crises. It reeks of pathetic capitulation. Trump is asserting dictatorial powers of absolute control over the entire government and the reaction is “we don’t swing at every pitch”? An appalling abdication.
