Even if it is true that Putin doesn't want to end the war, I find it interesting that Ukraine hasn't budged from its maximalist position either. So putting the blame on Putin while pushing to destroy the Russian economy is a pretty genius way to buy time and favor with Trump
Putin wants a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine this winter, President Zelensky said during his meeting with UK PM Starmer. Zelensky agreed that Russia has no intention of ending the war, pointing to strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. “We are not alone in this, especially now,” he added.
