Insbesondere zu Beitrag bezüglich deutscher/EU-Atomwaffe sowie Optionen RUS-(hybrider) Eskalation empfehlenswert.
🇩🇪 liegt geografisch wie ein großer Brocken in der Mitte. Im Kriegsfall würden Truppen u Waffen durch unser Territorium gehen und in umgekehrte Richtung Flüchtlinge. Wir müssen aus ureigenem Interesse führen, mit Verteidigungsausgaben, dann orientieren sich die anderen an uns und ziehen mit. (Major)
Wenn es Waffenstillstand gibt u Russland taktisch klug eine Weile die Füße still hält, dann kippt in 🇩🇪 die gesellschaftliche Stimmung, im Sinne von „alles doch nicht so schlimm“, Bereitschaft zu hohen Verteidigungsausgaben sinkt dann rapide. (Masala)

I suspect they might have hoped that the aircraft crashed in the Caspian Sea.
