TL;DR: I beg, do not frame being in person as being intrinsically better or more important/necessary than remote or online organizing and connection. Please stop devaluing the modes of engagement and tools which disabled people are frequently relegated to and rely upon. Learn to adapt and include.

Plus, this could bring in more people than housebound folks like me. It would also make getting involved more accessible for racialized folks and immigrants; people without cars, transit access, or time to commute; for parents with littles and caregivers of elderly and medically vulnerable people.

I am once again asking able bodied organizers to be critical of messaging that constantly directs people to meet "in person, not just online."
A reminder: This guidance is not viable for many housebound people, and it's frankly really frustrating to see it in the midst of respiratory virus surges.
