Whilst it may not solve all of the world’s problems, I think we can all agree that having more bakeries, libraries, structures with gargoyles, quaint cafés, museums, Ukraine flags, independent bookstores, and Oxford commas would be an important first step.

I'm regrettably not the eccentric yet mysterious caretaker of an abandoned castle on the Irish coast so no, I'm afraid your email did not "find me well".

Congress, retired public school educator here. Please share real legitimate questions for Linda, when you all speak. Here is one:

What measures will protect special education records from being used to identify and potentially discriminate against students with disabilities ?#QuestionsForLinda

i think an important thing for people outside the US to understand is that elon musk seized control of the government today and most americans don’t even realize it happened.

I just want to say for the record that when the history books are written centuries from now, I believe the election of Donald Trump in a free and fair election in 2024 will go down as one of the most senseless and self-destructive own goals in human history

I do not recall a 24 hour or one week news cycle with more disturbing news about the state of the presidency and the US government in it than those of today and the past seven days. January 6 was nothing compared to this. But make no mistake, this too is the gov't being torn apart by a mob of thugs.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.

It’s Friday night. Turn off the news this weekend. Avoid politics. Have dinner with friends and family. Play board games. Go for a nice walk. Watch a romcom. Eat food that’s bad for you and terribly delicious. Ban nonsense from your weekend. Friendly advice. 💜

This Monday, it will be used for a president lying to *all* states.
