If these dudes approached my kid like that, my anger would be enough to power four dozen medium-sized cities for 250 years.
Every Stephen Miller tantrum and DHS recruitment ad speaks in these existential terms about "defending your culture" to elide the fact that they need people with the courage to wear a mask while interrogating a sixth grader

Absolutely horrific details about an ICE shooting in Minneapolis.

A witness says a woman was trying to drive away from an ICE operation and the ICE agent "reached across the hood of the car and shot her in the face like three, four times."

Bovino was there.

I've watched thousands of videos from the Jan. 6 riot as part of NPR's reporting and archive project on that day.

It's worth reading the whole interview in full. It basically verifies that the NYT has spent the past decade-plus doubling down on top-down narratives for coverage, getting more intense over time.

Sulzberg personally picked & chose whom the news apparatus would target and whom it would kiss up to.
In this in-depth interview Billie Jean Sweeney — a former editor at The New York Times — details how the paper shifted towards openly promoting anti-trans hatred, why this was directed from the very top, how some staff pushed back and the immense damage done by the NYT legitimizing bigotry.

i spent some time today thinking about how one thing i like about wes anderson is he has a lot of love and appreciation for americana and has a fondness for 20th century american cultural products but the second he had the money he got the fuck out of texas to live wherever he could in europe
I moved from Texas to Maine two years ago. Last month I went back for four days. I won't go again.

What an emblem of the billionaire class—descending on a peaceful city in a private jet on the horn to NYT asking for the place to be invaded by federal authorities because the rent-a-cops you employ for a week to harass a few junkies outside the convention center cost too much.
