I have to say, that kid from that book from like 25 years ago or whenever I was in elementary school totally failed to rename pens or whatever he came up with a word for. I straight up do not remember what he called them

Now that Clair Obscur has won awards I, a person who has never touched a JRPG before, will play it and form my entire view on the genre from that game alone. It's so wild to have lived through (and been a child during) the release of the Star Wars prequels, to witness the change in culture both around and about those movies, and to now feel a genuine pop in the room when fucking Sebulba the pod racer is on screen. Shared culture is something else, man.
