I attended the forum last night, and wanted to follow up, since Lydia said she will respond to people in the Ward. My question didn't get a chance to get asked so I wanted to send it here.

I'm a trans individual. Minnesota is a sanctuary state for us, and Minneapolis is explicitly a sanctuary city. What specific policies or work would you work on to ensure trans people moving to this city will feel safe and protected? Who do you work with from the trans community to ensure that your policies are what our community wants?

In the interest of full disclosure, Lydia was present at a DFL feminist caucus meeting where I personally was misgendered over and over and my pronouns were mocked by many people she considers allies. A code of conduct complaint is pending with the DFL and Lydia has not commented on this issue, while Aisha has voiced vocal support for the community. I need to know that if Lydia wins, I can trust her not to throw the trans community under the bus in this political environment.

A lotta folks have been warning for YEARS that govt subsidies encouraging US farmers to invest near-exclusively in two crops (soybeans and corn) could have catastrophic consequences.

Neurodivergence exists on a continuum of human behaviors. If a neurodivergent person recognizes a characteristic in themselves that they see in another person that doesn't mean that person is neurodivergent.
