And if birthright citizenship is revoked, a birth certificate will not suffice as proof either.

The goal is for citizenship to be relegated to the arbitrary discretion of the president, with no way to challenge that discretion.
Add to this that HSI just filed a declaration in our case challenging these policies saying they can’t trust REAL IDs as proof of status.

So showing your papers isn’t even enough to end the stop.

You can only remove universal birthright citizenship from the 14th Amendment by inserting words that are not present in the text, like “allegiance,” then defining them in an idiosyncratic way engineered to produce your preferred result. No one should credit this fundamentally fraudulent enterprise.

On Aug 24, 1869, Ohio Rep. John Bingham, principal framer of the 14th amendment, gave a remarkable speech on “Equal Rights-Impartial Suffrage,” in which he said of those who sought to reject the principal of birthright citizenship, “no greater political atrocity than this can possibly be committed.”

Trump appointed Harmeet Dhillon to the Justice Department so she could own the libs and sue DEI out of existence. But she is a bad lawyer! And her utter incompetence is the main reason why a conservative Trump judge just struck down the racist Texas gerrymander. slate.com/news-and-pol...

Seems clear to me that Lindsey Halligan thinks an indictment is like a civil complaint. We make Civil Rule 8 compliant allegations and the good stuff will come out at trial.

It’s not, kids. Not even close.
Oh she straight up lied to the grand jury lol
Mag Judge Fitzpatrick says two statements by Halligan to grand jury "appear to be fundamental misstatements of the law that could compromise the integrity of the grand jury process."

The administration is deliberately starving poor people so that Dems will agree to radically slash the healthcare available to poor people.

Do not let its familiarity dull your outrage. This is monstrous, unforgivable shit.
The Trump administration told states that they must “immediately undo” any actions to provide full food stamp benefits to low-income families, in a move that added to the chaos surrounding the nation’s largest anti-hunger program during the government shutdown. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

This is a great piece. From a federal politics standpoint, the question is:

Which Party is standing in the way of more wind and solar?
The answer is clear.

A reminder that SNAP benefits didn’t go out November 1 because Donald Trump and Brooke Rollins broke the law and the Republicans in Congress are fine with that.
Understandable why grocery stores might be scared off. A store caught violating the prohibition could be denied ability to accept SNAP benefits in the future. In low-inc areas where SNAP shutdown will have biggest impact, getting thrown off SNAP could mean a store is no longer financially viable.
