Who knows?
Just 2 years ago AI couldn't produce any consistent text in an image. Today it spits out this.

Everyone dunking on this has the exact same energy as laughing at a 2 year old prodigy for not knowing how to spell correctly.

Where will it be in 2 more years? 10 years?
For anyone worried AI will replace all of us.

ICE PEPPER SPRAYED A ONE-YEAR-OLD because her mother was filming them.
ICE pepper-sprayed this 1-year-old girl.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

They had never seen anyone that young pepper sprayed.

Another horrific story.

More details below.

Talk surrounding AI content echoes the early days of photoshop.

The key difference is that it takes less skill & resources to make sub-mediocre AI content than photoshop did in the late 80s.

10 years from now "AI slop" will feel dated as a term & only for the worst examples.

So happy that @bradlander.bsky.social is running for Congress. From everything I’ve seen, he really walks the talk and seems to love the people he serves. Go Brad!
I’m running for Congress because we need leaders who will fight, not fold. I recognize this moment, and I’m ready to meet it. #FightDontFold #LanderForNYC #LanderForCongress

This touches on the problem of being on the top of any pyramid: followers, income, intelligence, political power, everything.

As you scale towards the summit the ground state - what is normal - receeds faster than you grasp.

Social media could improve this algorithmically but doesn't.
If you have more than 10k followers mutuals should be able to hit a “you’re being weird” button and once it gets to 50 clicks in 24 hours it sends you a pop up like “your friends are concerned. Maybe log off”

Preventing all car fatalities or giving healthcare to everyone would save roughly the same number of lives each year.

The perfect encapsulation of the USA.

Showing that no one that "defected" is up in 2026 highlights the unity of the DNC.

None of these people are defectors, these are the designated villains.

These are the people executing the will of the leaders of the democratic party.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)

I love klippenstein for his consistency.

A fair reading to call this a loss for Mamdani. Also, possible to see why it could be that Mamdani did this both strategically and/or from personal belief.

Our heroes don't need to be flawless or win every battle.

But we do need to hold them accountable.

Democrats just ran the table, winning the marquee races -- NJ and VA sweeps, NYC mayor, CA prop, PA Supreme Court -- and lower-profile races in red and purple states across the nation.

If the media you're reading or watching paints this as anything but a massive win, stop reading or watching them.

The 5 things I will miss most about New York when I move back to the suburbs next week.

by Andrew Cuomo
October 31, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Amazing how much terrible Cuomo packs into 60 seconds. Too much to list everything.

Adore former governor & son of a former governor talking about Mamdani's parents owning a mansion in Uganda.

Cuomo knows people have a problem with wealth but thinks that doesn't apply to him.
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

Truly a master class in how not to do it.

What's confounding is I am not certain *why* it is so bad. Something about the delivery, the tone of voice, the word choice, the person.

I just know it doesn't work.
