It's so bad - also it's shocking, and quite frankly insulting, that frontline NHS staff are now no longer eligible either. The nurse mentioned when I asked about covid jabs at my last asthma review, and I was horrified.

Can I offer you some nice gourds in these trying times?
Yellow and red pumpkins All kinds of weird lumpy gourds mixed together Many different colors and types of pumpkin

I did accidentally take a series of like 200 screenshots in a row, but also the computer remembers that I do in fact enjoy *not* being deafened when reconnecting Bluetooth headphones, so it's feeling good overall

1st impressions: very user friendly so far, the main things I've tried doing have worked nicely, and also I can now burn MS Teams in fire when I close the window

And so much so that several buses (ST1, ST2, maybe others) run different timetables during term time vs during school holidays

Ahh yes, completely agree on that! Many different issues to address - but school traffic is definitely a major one.

My buses have also been pretty much on time the whole summer, and then as soon as the schools have gone back there have been multiple delays of ~30 mins.
Of course, commuters are part of the same traffic, but there's a step change for sure when the schools go back.

Hello. I wrote a nice long essay about AI and this very strange moment where we're constantly told we're living in the dawn of a strange new future but the only thing that's actually clear is that everyone feels pretty unmoored and uncertain. I hope you'll read it
AI Is a Mass-Delusion Event
Three years in, one of AI’s enduring impacts is to make people feel like they’re losing it.

Madness this morning. My partner's works laptop couldn't connect.
She shouted at me "The Internet isn't working"

"What is it?" I replied.

"It’s a worldwide network of computers and other systems that all speak to each other, but that’s not important right now."

Turns it was in Airplane mode...

more businesses are relying on heroin use to increase employee efficiency. studies have found that one employee on heroin can replace three non-heroin employees at a fraction of the cost. ceo's should consider implementing heroin in their organizations or risk being left behind, say heroin dealers
