As a former gifted kid myself I get it, we were groomed into seeing recognition from institutional authority, and oftentimes those moments were the one time we were given unequivocal affirmation and love and non-demanding attention

CMS is saying they can do this because this care is not "healthcare" and thus they aren't regulating practice of medicine... seems like a slippery slope? what stops them from next saying abortion isn't healthcare?

If it hasn't been said, I'll say it: No woman of color would ever be defended in this "she's just a smol bean" fashion & many Black, Latina, Asian & Indigenous women have had their lives & careers destroyed for nothing, or for far, far less. Same goes for trans women. These are just fucking facts.
