Remember: the imprisoned peaceful protesters on hunger strike have not been convicted of any crime, yet they expect to spend about a year and a half in prison awaiting trial.

Everyone has human rights. And theirs are clearly being violated.

The EU has set itself an ambitious agenda - focused on security, competitiveness, and social cohesion.

We need a long-term EU budget that gives us the means to achieve these ambitions.

Time is of the essence to have the new budget up and running as of 2028.

£18 - hourly rate for a resident doctor after the 29% rise

£24 - hourly rate for a physicians assistant

If you're ok with assistants earning more than actual doctors, congratulations, you've fallen for Streeting and Starmer's attack on the people who will keep you safe when you fall ill, doctors

It’s exactly this kind of dismal, prejudiced bollox from the Daily Mail that’s got us into the ruinous Brexit mess we’re in. What a moronic response to us rejoining Erasmus and all the benefits that brings. If they’re really worried about cost, they should push to cancel Brexit altogether.

Just got back from HMP Bronzefield.

Most importantly: Qesser Zuhrah was transferred to hospital via the ambulance she’d been demanding since 5pm yesterday.

David Lammy, Keir Starmer — you are on the brink of causing the deaths of multiple young Palestine hunger strikers.

The 'betrayal of Brexit' response to rejoining Erasmus is obviously predictable, and stupid (Brexit = leaving EU). But what's more striking is how *dated* it seems, like someone still waving a 'Thatcher out' placard.

Former UK chancellor George Osborne joins OpenAI

Lucrative appointments for failed ministers.

They aren't hired for technical know-how but to exploit political links acquired with public money. What is the return to taxpayers for that investment?

Remember former PM Cameron lobbying for Greensill.

Good point. The UK may be rejoining #Erasmus but there are still questions as to how this works with visas for those participating in the programme both from the UK to the EU and the EU to the UK since, obviously, the UK remains a third country.
Oh, whilst rejoining Eramus is great news for youngsters it needs to be paired with a compatible visa regime.

Visas are particularly challenging as each country sets its own visa restrictions on people, or students, from "third countries."

When did Labour MPs and their supporters start supporting authoritarianism and not the rule of law?

1. Nobody voted for Brexit
2. Parliament didn’t debate or vote
3. No records of cabinet decisions
4. It was only advisory
5. The EU should have rejected the A50 letter
6. The EU should have protected us
7. There should have been no negative consequences for ME

Reminder 1: these prisoners haven't been convicted yet, their trial is yet to start.

Reminder 2: Two of these prisoners have now been on hunger strike for 46 days, one on 45 days. Martin Hurson became the 6th of 10 IRA hunger strikers to die in the 80s on his 46th day.

It is in the treaties. Once *UK triggered A50*, it was no longer our concern. The 27 negotiated for European citizens and states, not those leaving.

And that's the way it should be. If people didn't like it, they should not have voted to leave.

Blaming Europe for the UK choice is childish.

In discussion in this episode, the presenters agree that changes to accession to help Ukraine will "make accession less daunting" for the UK.

Daunting?

The UK is capable, and has huge advantages over Ukraine (such as not being bombed).

Why can't it go through accession?
