And unfortunately, even in an idealized single payer system where physicians are philosopher kings making medical care decisions without petty concerns with regards to cost or efficiency, it's going to be someone's job to figure out what should and should not be paid for.

All of these are very real questions:

* Should we just let everyone with a chronic disease have a fecal transplant on the off chance it works
* Should the public pay hundreds of dollars a bottle for herbal supplements for cancer (they don't work)
* Are prayer services medicine? How about chaplains?

"BREAKING" is typically what journalists or influencers say when they have a big story -- not what government officials say when they launch "undercover" operations

i have met a number of pigs, including pigs i later went on to eat (we have small farmers in our family) and quite frankly, getting to know pigs has made me feel even less bad about eating them
