I just love that Konrad's narrative role is basically to roll around on the floor naked and covered in blood and trash yelling "AT THE END OF THE DAY YOURE JUST LIKE MEEEE. WE ALL SMELL LIKE SHIT HERE." at the other primarchs

Frankly with the epic rise of shit content on the Internet, we are due a resurgence of personal blogs; the issue will be actually finding them in the shit. The deluge has ended the Internet as we know it.

[screaming at the top of my lungs, once again] the fundamental technology of humanity is care
We didn't survive and thrive as a species because we had warriors or hunters - pretty much every omnivore can manage that.

We did so because we developed Grandmothers, and domesticated Dogs.

Community is what defines us as a species, and every "self-reliant" libertarian shitweasel be damned.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Rian Johnson is really good at morality plays
Knives out: the upper middle class are squabbling vicious children who do not deserve their inheritance

Glass onion: the new elite are the stupidest murderous cunts alive and deserve your scorn

Wake up dead man: those preaching anger as salvation are leading you to death, hope and kindness matter

Why am I against generative AI? Because it's trained on hard work stolen from me and my writer and artist friends, and because its use devalues that same hard work.

Again: they thought they’d win a shattering court victory with the Harry Potter lady’s money, then the public would rise up in gratitude, salute them as heroes and stomp all over transgender people on their behalf. That hasn’t happened, because the public mostly aren’t vicious cranks, like they are.

Conventions, if you use AI do not be surprised if creators turn down your invitations to be guests or even to be on panels.

Do not use tools trained on stolen work from creators and then tell them you want to honor or uplift them - that’s not what you’re doing. You’re stealing and being lazy.

The more AI gets hyped by people, the more I hate it. It's such a sad state that such technology intended for the benefit of humankind gets exploited.

I'm all for progress, but there is a clear indication that what the big tech is currently pushing are all for profit, with disregard of common good.

Protection features bsky has:

NUCLEAR BLOCK- neither of you can see each other's posts, you no longer exist to each other)

DETACH QUOTES- if someone quotes your post with something you don't like you can "detatch" your original post and it appears blank under their quote

Even though bsky has management issues, I believe my trans friends if they say this is some real fearmongering going on. It comes at a very suspicious time.
Twitter users are spreading some crazy misinfo about Bluesky amid this AI art situation. I have a really cynical read on all this — I think there’s fearmongering on Twitter to prevent people from leaving. “Please don’t walk out of the jail, even though the door is open”

There are many people who simply do not understand the stakes and either understate or overstate them. The issue is not that AI will replace writers or w/e: it can't. The issue is that AI will make our working conditions significantly worse and harm the development of new artists in our fields.

There is no ethical use of AI because the continued existence of the AI industry is directly harmful to (alongside everyone else) the interests of everyone whose labour makes books exist—writers of fiction & nonfiction, illustrators, translators, researchers, editors, everyone.

Treat a published work that was later divulged to be AI-generated the same way you would if you found out it was manually plagiarized from a different book. Same situation, just the plagiarism has been automated and averaged out a bit, and the plagiarist is also a scab and a cultural arsonist.

It's genuinely frustrating that those people are also conflating general AI (machine learning, stuff that improves functionality, etc) with generative AI (midjourney, stable diff, LLMs like ChatGPT, etc.) because they are not the same. I want the former, and want the latter erased from my devices.
love that software developers are advertising AI functionality in every single app now and it's up to you to try to figure out if they mean "this has spellcheck" or "everything you create in this app will sync in real-time to sam altman's personal laptop" or something in between
December 24, 2025 at 1:50 PM
It's also just EVERYWHERE and it's so frustrating. No, I do not want Copilot/other gAI integrated in my phone. Or my laptop. Or at work. Or in a tablet. They are trying so hard to take the choice from you. I have a brain, I do not need it to do the thinking for me. It is so invasive.
There's a lot of talk about how "it's inevitable" and "everyone's using it" in regards to gAI and I think it's pretty clear folk are misjudging just how much hatred there is toward it, the more the industry fucks with our jobs, tech, prices, privacy.

You use this shit & your blacklisted to me.

I am waiting for one, literally ONE major company, to lean hard into AI counter programming with their products and marketing. It’s RIGHT THERE. It’s worth a FORTUNE. “Hate ‘AI’ in everything? We got you!” But they Will. Not. Do it.

Lemmings and cowards and greedy visionless hacks, all of ‘em.

Agreed. Reports link these "A.i." products to deaths, suicides, cognitive decline, and right wing propaganda.

So let's NOT implement them for student use, right?
