I know it’s not the point here but the delusional belief that body cameras make anyone safer has repeatedly been shown to be false, and more people need to know that the only thing body cameras do is increase law enforcement budgets. I’d hope the Senate minority leader would know how to get informed

The thing that Senators need to understand is that public perception is rapidly turning against not only ice but DHS itself. The public has seen an agency that is behaving as though it is unconstrained by any law and by any constitutional protection. "Reining in" DHS is not enough.
