🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS: Was just passed this from a fellow service academy grad. A Coast Guard Academy graduate posted this. They are reporting that ICE entered base housing and took a USCG spouse. I can’t confirm this but I’m calling for answers from the Coast Guard and Congress. This is unacceptable.

Domain verification is stupid as hell. You're just replacing "how do I know if this account is real?" to "how do I know if this domain is real?". Domain verification isn't verification of anything other than the fact the account owner can set up a website, which the average person can't.
First, an entire generation of people learned HTML so they could personalize their myspace page. I think we can handle domain verification.
Second, brands should want to self-verify to control verification rather than rely on someone else's decision that they're worthy enough to get, or keep, it.
