Said exactly this to one of my own 4.5yo twins last night when she told a toy that was on a high shelf to “get the fuck down from there.”
I’m a librarian. I tell the kids they can say whatever the fuck they want as long as it isn’t a slur or being used for bullying. (But to keep in mind that many grownups probably aren’t going to feel the same way.)

When your “economic philosophy” leads to this conclusion (inevitably under extractive capitalism), the only moral response is to question the assumptions of your system. Most economists however, are mind numbingly stupid or evil. Or in Larry’s case, seemingly both.

I don't know how a large review outlet that purports to take itself seriously can release a video "I don't care about your indie game". It's one thing to be realistic about what you can cover but this is just deeply incurious and unnecessarily cruel.

I really enjoy Amabel’s creative voice in game design and cultural criticism, but as a librarian, I am particularly excited about this research work she’s doing in uncovering authorship that might otherwise be lost to history.
Many 20th Century board game designers remain uncredited. This year I've tracked down designer info for 18 games. It's required artifact acquisition, access to newspaper archives, books, and even a trip from Detroit to Connecticut. My patreon producers made this possible.
