There is a prison of judgment and success-chasing most artists get heaved into at an early age and can take a lifetime to get free from. You gotta understand that the process—not the product!—is the thing.
Others are entertained as a byproduct of you attending to rituals you construct for yourself.

dreamt last night that i stumbled across a "first person musical" in which i, the only audience member, was also the protagonist. i didn't sing but everyone sang at me and dragged me to different sets and i was supposed to sit there and react appropriately

when i was a kid, growing up with UK houses with brick walls, the idea of the kool aid man bursting through the wall was terrifying to me. this being, construct of glass, yet bane of brick. now that i realize american homes are made of thoughts and prayers his violent entry is far more plausible
